ABBYY Business Card Reader Pro App Reviews

This is an incredible time saver for anyone Who needs to put business cards into their iPhone and it has an amazing accuracy that I really like. Strongly recommend it. I teach Real Estate agents and I have recommended this product all over the country and will continue to do so.

Solid app. Saves time. Text recognition in English and French is good but not perfect.

Overall a great app. Sometimes it is not intuitive - specifically the grouping function. Also, it would be great if you could add contacts without business cards (from what I can tell you can only add contacts via photo).

One of the best card reader... A bit pricy but its worth it.

I used to use CardScan, but it died after Windows XP, so I looked around for some kind of replacement. This works great

App easy to use, accurate OCR on tough text in low light, and intelligently formats card info into correct categories.

The beta of iOS 9 has been out since June. Very disappointed that with the public release in September the App crash as soon as it starts. Hopefully an update will be out soon.

I love this so I have used it for awhile now and it downloads all info straight into my contacts. Seriously try it out and see what u think

I have always loved this app. It totally has replaced all other forms of storage for business cards. The iOS update messed it up. Apparently there was an app update and it is now working again. THANKS!!

I love the app. Wish it could read cards a little better. I suggest it should Allow us to file same card to more than one category.

I dont have to deal with business cards much, but when I do, I scan them with BCR Plus and toss the original card. BCR Plus scans quickly and I rarely have to change information. When I do, its a minor change (and usually I could just re-scan the card more carefully, but the changes are minor enough that its easier to just fix a few numbers or letters).

The app works very well… If given the opportunity, will read business cards with a high degree of accuracy. I find that if you put the card on a black background and that it is not too graphic, the accuracy is about 95%. If, however you have one of the fancy tomographic business cards, it will have difficulty. This is very understandable as simple is often better than complex.
